Several tips for successful wiki-editing
1° When adding a new entry, orientate yourself on the following example:
Example:
||<width="20%"> [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poe_Toaster Poe Toaster] ||<width="60%"> A mysterious figure who pays an annual tribute to American author Edgar Allan Poe by visiting the author's original grave marker on his birthday. ||<width="10%"> [[Image(poe_toaster.jpg, thumbnail)]] ||

2° You will notice three essential things:
-
The 3 <width="X%"> tags. You really should put them as shown in the example. I do know that they don't sum up to 100%, but if you change it (I tried), it tends to look kind of shitty. No idea why. If you find a better way to format this wiki, feel free to do so. But only then.
-
There is a third colon in the table with a link to an image. You should ALWAYS put that link there, even if you have no image at the time; if you don't put it there, sites, again, tend to look shitty. Therefore we have two placeholders you should use:
|
|
Use this one if you are too lazy to search for an image, so that other, non-lazy users know that a search might have positive results. |
-
The "', thumbnail" attribute, which should always be used.
